As many of you know, I work at podcast hosting company Captivate as Head of Podcaster Support & Experience. Earlier this week, we released a huge new product to the platform in the shape of Tips and Memberships.
This enables the same kind of premium options I currently offer here for Pod Chat, as well as one-off donations, with a much more streamlined integration with my shows because everything is maintained within Captivate. It also allows me much more flexibility in the kind of benefits I can offer you as a premium member. These include:
early access to every episode
exclusives, like bonus episodes not available on the public RSS feed
shout outs on the show
Pod Chat sticker, and more
Because of this new release, it allows me to bring everything under one roof, as opposed to a mix of options via Substack, Patreon, and Buy Me a Coffee. So, over the next few days, if you’re a current premium subscriber to Pod Chat (and thank you!), I’ll be reaching out to you directly to advise on how to move your support from here to Captivate. Essentially, nothing will really change on your end as far as how you support goes, but it will offer more flexibility in currency as well as extra benefits. :)
And if you’re currently not a premium member but interested in all the cool benefits you get, or just want to make a one-off tip/donation, just click the little blue button below:
This newsletter will forever remain free, but as a premium supporter now you can easily continue following the show on your preferred podcast app, while accessing member-only benefits through your very own private feed, as opposed to receiving an email and then having to click that to listen on a web player/find on your app of choice. It’s just easier all round.
Thank you so much for being part of the Pod Chat community, and I appreciate your support.
I’ve been considering switching over the Wednesday to my captivate account for a while. This might finally be the thing to do it!
