A Simple Way to Get More Podcast Reviews
track all your global podcast reviews and ratings in one easy dashboard
For podcasters looking to get more reviews, My Podcast Reviews offers a simple way for listeners to leave a review/rating of your show on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, Podchaser, and Castbox.
As a podcaster, one of the things that can help your show get more listeners are reviews of your show.
Reviews can act as social proof, and indicate to others that your show is worth listening to. Lots of positive reviews can also help you attract sponsors and advertisers.
But getting reviews can be tricky, as it’s not always the most intuitive thing to do for listeners of your show.
This is where the service My Podcast Reviews comes in, especially with the launch of its new feature, Love The Podcast, which offers a landing page you can send listeners to to review your podcast.
What’s extra cool about the Love The Podcast landing page is it only offers review options based on the OS you visit the page on, making it even easier for visitors to choose where to leave a review. Try it out!
There are some really useful features when logged in to your account, too.
Easily share and reply to reviews
My Podcast Reviews makes it super easy to see where a review was left, and (if supported by that platform) reply to the reviewer with a thank you (which builds up even more connection between listener and podcaster).
You can also share the review straight from your dashboard, giving more social proof to your show.
Custom URL and branding
While you can use the default URL for your review page, you can also choose one that’s more suited to your podcast. So, for example, mine is lovethepodcast.com/podchat, which is a lot easier to say during an episode than the default one. :)
You can also use a custom colour, which I have set to the main colour for my podcast site/player.
And, if you want to know as soon as you receive a new review, you can set alerts up to your email.
If that’s not enough, My Podcast Reviews makes it super easy for listeners to follow your show on their favourite app, with your own Follow the Podcast landing page, too, which can also have a custom URL and colour setting.
I’ve been using My Podcast Reviews for about 18 months, now, and it’s been really effective at helping listeners review my shows (with 60 for my other main podcast, Podcaster Stories).
If you’re a podcaster and looking to get more reviews for your podcast, I highly recommend signing up and using My Podcast Reviews - it works, plain and simple.
